Smart growth community in Manheim Township has new floor plans, quick move-in options and a new phase starting later this year
Worthington, Keystone Custom Homes’ live, work and play community in Manheim Township, is filling up fast.
But a new phase and new floor plans in this smart growth community are giving home buyers even more opportunities to enjoy the benefits of living in this mixed residential and retail neighborhood.
Home prices start in the low $300s.
Straddling the Oregon Pike, Worthington is conveniently located between downtown Lancaster and Lititz, with easy access to routes 30, 222 and 283.
When complete, it will include a total of 259 homes — single-family, carriage homes and townhomes — along with the Lofts at Worthington, one- and two-bedroom apartments over 43,000 square feet of first-floor retail/commercial space on the west side of the community.
Those shops currently include an Italian bistro, a Vietnamese restaurant, Fulton Bank, Subway, a nail salon and art studio. Coming soon will be the fine dining Mediterranean restaurant Gibraltar and an upscale hair salon.
Worthington sits on 86 acres, one third of which is open and natural space, including parks with gazebos, walking and biking trails connecting to nearby Landis Woods, fountains and grilling areas.
Only a few sites remain in the second part of Worthington’s Phase 1 — part of a total of 22 home sites on the east side of Oregon Pike that have sold quickly.
These homes face a manicured open park space with gazebo and back up to open space. This section of Worthington will also have a walking trail that connects to nearby Nitrauer Elementary School.
Phase II of Worthington is slated to begin in late summer or early fall.
Home buyers who want to build from scratch in Worthington now have two new home plans to choose from.
The Winston, an open-concept floor plan with four bedrooms and two and a half baths, features 2,343 square feet of living space. It starts at $305,674.
The three-bedroom Hartford has a first-floor owner’s suite and a loft overlooking a family room with vaulted ceiling. The plan also includes an optional fourth bedroom. At 2,478 square feet, the Hartford is priced at $302,852.
For buyers who are ready to move in now, Worthington also has two quick move-in homes, both of which feature first-floor owner suites and extensive upgrades.
The first, a Sienna Vintage, sits on a beautiful walk-out home site with meadow and stream views. The three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home includes a study nook with built-in cabinets, custom lighting, a two-story foyer, upgraded kitchen and cascade bathroom featuring a frameless glass shower and tiled soaking tub.
At 1,870 square feet, the Sienna Vintage is priced at $389,912.
The second quick move-in home, a Cambridge Vintage, features three bedrooms, two and a half baths and a beautiful arched stone entry.
A second-floor loft with decorative railing and columns overlooks a two-story great room with a large wall of windows and two-story stone fireplace. The owner’s suite includes a Venetian bath with tiled walk-in shower, soaking tub with granite surround, and split vanities.
The floor plan was a best in show winner in the 2015 Parade of Homes.
At 2,862 square feet, the Cambridge Vintage is priced at $399,912.
Worthington’s designer model home, a Manchester Traditional, also a Parade of Homes best in show winner, has a starting base price of $318,417 and is 2,953 square feet.
Worthington is located in the Manheim Township School District. The model home is open 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Directions from Lancaster: Take Oregon Pike north for one and a half miles. Turn left into community on Royer Drive, then left on Prescot Street. The model is last home on right.
