Reserve at Union School has move-in-ready options

Scenic Mount Joy neighborhood by Garman Builders has three homes available and only a few lots remaining

The Reserve at Union School in Mount Joy has become a popular choice for those who want to combine the serenity of country living with close proximity to everywhere they want to go.
The neighborhood by Garman Builders, just off Union School Road, is surrounded by scenic farmland but only minutes from major routes to Lancaster, Harrisburg and Hershey — or the shops, restaurants and historic charm of downtown Mount Joy.
More than just an ideal location, The Reserve has its own appeal, with tree-lined streets, sidewalks, a walking path, home sites of one-third acre or more, and a choice of 29 floor plans to best suit your lifestyle.
It’s no wonder this neighborhood is fast wrapping up its final phase. At the moment, there are only six opportunities remaining to become a part of The Reserve at Union School — three ready-now homes and three home sites for those who want to custom build.
The ready-now homes reflect a variety of lifestyle options.
The model home, a two-story, four-bedroom Falcon II with stone and siding exterior at 615 Kiera Lane, is not only move-in ready, but also includes a host of upgrades.
The open floor plan features an impressive two-story breakfast area with second-floor overlook.
The roomy kitchen includes a large, curved island with bar seating, painted Premier cabinetry, granite countertops, a tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances and a corner pantry closet with a sliding barn door.
An accent wall in the sunken family room, along with a gas fireplace with stone surround, gives the room a cozy feel.
The first floor also includes a study with batten-style wainscoting and a sliding barn door, as well as hardwood flooring in the kitchen, breakfast area, foyer, hall and powder room.
Upstairs, the master bedroom features a tray ceiling, two walk-in closets and a luxury owner’s bath. Three additional bedrooms, including one with a walk-in closet, share a second full bath. The laundry is also on the second floor.
The Falcon II also includes a floating patio.
At 2,348 square feet, the Falcon II is priced at $339,990.
Just down the street, the Heron at 612 Kiera Lane offers two-story living with the convenience of a first-floor master suite accented with a tray ceiling and rope lighting.
The Premier kitchen includes an island, granite countertops and tile backsplash, and a breakfast area that opens to the great room with gas fireplace.
The first floor also includes a formal dining room, laundry and powder room. Most of the first floor includes hardwood flooring.
Three bedrooms on the second floor each have walk-in closets and share a full bath.
At 2,156 square feet, the Heron is priced at $343,990.
Buyers who prefer one-story living have another option in The Reserve with the Reilly, at 824 Jasmine Ave.
The two-bedroom, two-bath home also has a Premier kitchen with tile backsplash, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Other notable features include a gas fireplace with stone surround and paneled mantel, a tray ceiling in the master bedroom, a glass and tile shower in the master bath, and hardwood flooring throughout most of the first floor.
At 1,913 square feet, the Reilly is priced at $326,990.
For those who want to build from scratch, only three lots remain, including one that backs up to preserved farmland.
The Reserve at Union School is in the Donegal School District.
The Falcon II model is closed today for Easter, but will re-open on Monday. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Monday, Thursday and Friday, and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
