Manheim Township’s newest garden-style apartments filling up fast
One of Manheim Township’s first planned residential communities has now completed its final phase.
Kissel Hill Commons, a 300-unit community that includes a mix of single-family homes, townhomes, apartments and commercial space, is now home to Kissel Hill Crest Apartments.
The 26 upscale and spacious garden-style apartments blend seamlessly into this charming community. The new two-story housing features a stone-and-siding exterior with stone archways, balconies and patios.
“We tried to create a feel of a condominium complex versus an apartment complex,” says owner/developer Bob Wolf, noting Kissel Hill Crest is one of only a few brand-new apartment complexes in Manheim Township.
That’s one reason it’s in high demand, with 75 percent of the apartments already leased since the complex opened Aug. 1, Wolf says.
The one- and two-bedroom apartments range in size from 930 square feet to 1,170 square feet. There are 16 two-bedroom units and 10 one-bedroom units. All have private entries.
The thoughtful layout of the complex means all apartments have natural window light on two sides. Nine-foot ceilings in the first-floor units and vaulted ceilings in the second-floor units add to the open and spacious feel.
All apartments have gas heat and central air and come with a host of amenities, including fully-equipped kitchens with granite countertops and backsplashes, bar seating, large capacity refrigerator, microwave, self-cleaning oven and heavy-duty garbage disposal.
All apartments also feature vinyl wood-plank flooring, side-by-side washer and dryer, tilt-in double-pane vinyl windows with wide-panel wood blinds, and ceiling fan lights in the living room and bedrooms.
Two-bedroom apartments include walk-in closets in the master bedroom, as well as an additional bath. One-bedroom apartments also have walk-in closets.
Sprinklers and smoke/carbon dioxide detectors are standard, and apartments are pre-wired for cable, internet and phone.
Second-floor apartments offer a panoramic view that extends for miles, and many also overlook planned open space.
Kissel Hill Commons is in close proximity to many county amenities, from Park City Center, grocery stores and convenience stores to Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center and downtown Lititz.
Or simply walk out your door and visit Kissel Hill Commons’ own complex of shops that includes a restaurant, spa, fitness center, dance studio and yoga studio.
The community also has its own swimming pool and walking trails.
Rent for a one-bedroom apartment is $1,095 per month for the first floor and $1,175 per month for the second floor. Two-bedroom rent is $1,395 and $1,475 for first- and second-floor, respectively.
Rent includes water, sewer, trash, snow removal and lawn maintenance. A one-month security deposit is required for a one-year lease. Pets are permitted, with restrictions.
Kissel Hill Crest is in the Manheim Township School District. Five two-bedroom units and two one-bedroom units are still available.
Kissel Hill Crest is located at 619 Thornberry Lane, Lititz. For more information or to schedule a showing at the model unit, contact Wolf at email@example.com.
