Enjoy the flexibility of Traditions of America

When it comes to describing life at Traditions of America at Lititz, one resident’s testimonial says it best:
“Every night is a Friday night, and every day is a Saturday.”
Jay Goldberg, Vice President of Marketing for Traditions, couldn’t have said it any better.
“I just think it’s so appropriate for the lifestyle people gain at Traditions of America communities,” he says. “It’s a built-in new group of friends and a built-in lifestyle that’s just relaxing and fun.”
The 55+ community, located in the heart of Lititz, offers a variety of award-winning Single Family and Garden Home floor plans to suit individual needs, plus a host of resort-style amenities, including a spectacular 8,000-square-foot Clubhouse that serves as a hub of community activity.
The Clubhouse includes a gathering room with fireplace, Fitness Center, Yoga Studio, Massage Room, Saunas, a Sports Bar & Lounge tended by homeowners, a Library/Gaming Room, Full Kitchen, Dining Room and Club Room.
Outside, a 60-inch flat-screen TV overlooks a lounge area, built-in fire pit and Heated Swimming Pool.
The grounds at Traditions of America also include Tennis/Pickle ball Courts, a putting green, horseshoes and bocce, a paved walking path and an outdoor park complete with a gazebo, benches and a fountain.
The Clubhouse is home to a host of community activities, from speakers and cooking demonstrations to poker groups and Friday happy hours. Homeowners also can rent the Kitchen, Dining Room and Club Room for up to 75 guests.
And of course Lititz itself, with it’s restaurants, shops and historic charm, is an extension of that community life as well.
Like all TOA communities, Traditions of America at Lititz has a Lifestyle Concierge that plans events and activities based on the interests and desires of the residents.
It’s a kind of flexibility that has become a hallmark of the community, Goldberg says.
In fact, when it came time to expand the community’s facilities, Traditions of America worked with the homeowners to determine what they wanted. Homeowners chose to add on to the current Clubhouse, rather than build a separate building for smaller events and activities.
The expansion added a lounge area and more room for parties and events.
“By adding to the Clubhouse it keeps the social center centralized,” Goldberg says. “We agree with their decision.
“Traditions of America really does offer flexibility,” he says. “That extends to our purchase process, too.”
As part of its Buying Made Easy program, the community offers HomeFree, a contingency program designed to ensure that a buyer will never own two homes at the same time. Buyers have the safety net of knowing that if their existing home does not sell within a year of signing a contract, Traditions will refund their money.
Additionally, through the HomeAssist program, Traditions of America offers buyers professional coaching and support in the sale of their existing home.
Traditions is also flexible when it comes to the design of a new home.
With the help of professional designers in Traditions of America’s on-site Design Studio, buyers can personalize their home to their heart’s content, whether it’s choosing paint and finishes, adding a Sunroom, redesigning a living area, or incorporating a security package and smart technology.
“We allow them to move walls, change the size of rooms, add structural options,” Goldberg says. “At this point in their life they want what they want, and we get it.”
Now there are more opportunities for buyers to get what they want and to start enjoying the flexible lifestyle at Traditions of America at Lititz.
Of the 244 homesites in the first four phases of the community, only 22 remain; however, 85 lots in a fifth phase have now been released.
“It gives 85 more people the opportunity to live at Traditions of America at Lititz,” Goldberg says. “People can come running.”
