55-plus resort-style living in America’s ‘Coolest Small Town’ and the area’s fastest-selling community

When Traditions of America at Lititz, a 55+ community offering a variety of award-winning Single Family and Garden Homes plus a host of amenities, held a VIP event this summer to showcase the fifth and final phase of the community, it sold eight lots in a matter of hours.
Since the summer event, about 20 percent of the remaining 80 lots have been sold, with interest in the community continuing to grow (and more and more new homeowners each day).
Although buyers have many reasons to love this community, located in the heart of Lititz, there’s something special about the final phase, says Jay Goldberg, Vice President of Marketing.
“This final section of the community is located on a little bit of a ridge and has views of the surrounding countryside,” he says. “It’s very nice. Some of our most recent buyers were actually waiting for these specific lots because of their view and added privacy.”
In fact, everyone who attended the VIP event eventually purchased a home, Goldberg says. “We’ve even had to release new homesites ahead of schedule.”
Of course, the appeal of Traditions of America at Lititz is not only its scenic views, but also a low-maintenance lifestyle that includes resort-style amenities and customizable homes.
The Clubhouse, which serves as the hub of the community, includes a gathering room with fireplace, Fitness Center, Yoga Studio, Massage Room, Saunas, a Sports Bar & Lounge tended by homeowners, a Library/Gaming Room, Full Kitchen, Dining Room and Club Room.
Outside, a 60-inch flat-screen TV overlooks a lounge area, built-in fire pit and Heated Swimming Pool.
Homeowners also enjoy outdoor amenities including Tennis/Pickle ball Courts, a putting green, horseshoes and bocce ball, a paved walking path and an outdoor park complete with a gazebo, benches and a fountain.
The Clubhouse is also home to a host of community activities, from speakers and cooking demonstrations to poker groups and Friday happy hours. Homeowners also can rent the Kitchen, Dining Room and Club Room for up to 75 guests.
And of course, Lititz itself, with its restaurants, shops and historic charm, is an extension of that community life as well.
Another way to experience life at Traditions of America at Lititz is through the Try Before You Buy program, which allows prospective homeowners to spend a weekend in the community’s Guest Home. They will also be paired with homeowner ambassadors who will take them to dinner and other activities, as well as answer questions about the community.
Although prospective buyers can visit the community any day, the community will roll out the red carpet Saturday, Nov. 4, offering the general public an all-encompassing view of everything Traditions of America at Lititz has to offer. Attendees will be able to explore the Designer Model Homes and newly released homesites, tour the Clubhouse, enjoy cooking demos and beer tastings from local vendors and more.
You don’t have to wait to experience Lititz’ Live Better lifestyle. You can tour the final phase of homes before everyone else does at the Nov. 4 event. Call 717-626-0327 to schedule a personal tour of the newly released homesites or visit TraditionsOfAmerica.com/LZ-Lancaster.
The Welcome Center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (6 p.m. DST).
