Traditions of America meets demand with final phase

Last home sites among community’s best, but they’re selling fast

For some communities, having more than 50 home sites left to sell might seem a long way from the finish line. But for Traditions of America at Lititz, it means the finish line is right around the corner.
The popular 55+ community just south of downtown Lititz is in such high demand that it recently released its final home sites ahead of schedule. The 50 or so that remain represent only about 15 percent of the total home sites in the community.
“While that seems like an ample number of homes remaining, since we sold 11 homes in April and already 8 in May, in just a few months we will be down to the last homes remaining,” says Jay Goldberg, Vice President of Marketing. “With a great variety of Single Family and Garden Home site types still available, including some with walkout basements, it’s best to take the opportunity while those choices still exist.”
In addition to its award-winning customizable Single Family and Garden Homes, Traditions offers a low-maintenance lifestyle that includes a variety of resort-style amenities. Outdoors, homeowners can enjoy Tennis/Pickle Ball Courts, a putting green, horseshoes and bocce ball, a paved walking path and a park complete with a gazebo, benches and a fountain.
An 8,000-square-foot Clubhouse, the hub of the community, features a gathering room with fireplace, Fitness Center, Yoga Studio, Massage Room, Saunas, a Sports Bar & Lounge tended by homeowners, a Library/Gaming Room, Full Kitchen, Dining Room and Club Room.
“The Clubhouse is currently undergoing an expansion to provide even more space for community events,” Goldberg says. “It’s all part of Traditions of America’s commitment to improving the lifestyle of our homeowners even after they move in.”
The Traditions lifestyle extends beyond the community as well, thanks to its location in America’s Coolest Small Town. A convenient walking path connects Traditions of America with downtown Lititz, making it easy for residents to enjoy the town’s historic charm, chic boutiques, antiques shops, cafes and more.
The community is also only a short drive from Lancaster city, which recently named one of the 10 Coolest U.S. Cities to Visit in 2018.
The remaining home sites in the final phase are actually among some of the best, Goldberg says, because they sit on the highest point in the community.
Traditions held a Passport to Living Better open house event in April, where visitors could explore not only the community lifestyle and amenities, but also the new home sites.
“The views from the newest home sites are amazing,” Goldberg says. “I had the opportunity to take several groups of people for tours and everyone was surprised how beautiful it was.”
Buyers interested in Traditions of America at Lititz do not have to wait for a special event to check out the new home sites, along with all the community has to offer.
You can visit or call 717-696-6682 to schedule a personal tour of the new homesites any time or visit any Sunday in June for the “Welcome to Summer” Open House Event. The Welcome Center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Traditions also offers a Try Before You Buy program, where prospective residents can spend a weekend in the community’s guest house. They will also be paired with homeowner ambassadors who will take them to dinner and other activities, as well as answer questions about the community.
