Apartment community offers host of amenities, plus shopping, dining and more
When it comes to apartment living in a walkable neighborhood with a host of amenities, The Crossings at Conestoga Creek checks all the boxes — and then some.
Prospective residents can check out Lancaster County’s brand-new resort-style apartment community for themselves at an open house from 4-6 p.m. today.
The new residences by High Associates are part of a mixed-use community off Harrisburg Pike that currently features Wegmans grocery store and Miller’s Ale House, with more restaurants, shops and a movie theater to come.
But as close as residents are to shopping, dining and entertainment, they are equally close to peaceful seclusion, thanks to walking paths that lead to nearby Noel S. Dorwart Park and Long’s Park.
Just as appealing as The Crossings’ convenient location between downtown Lancaster and Routes 30 and 283 are the resort-style amenities and unique features of the apartment community itself.
The Crossings encompasses six buildings and a clubhouse with a total of 258 apartments, more than 50 percent of which are currently leased. Each four-story building has secure key fob access and elevators.
Residents can choose from 15 floor plans, including studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom options, ranging in size from 508 to 1,412 square feet. All are designed to include a host of custom features like those you would choose to have in your own home.
Kitchens feature 42-inch Shaker-style cabinets in either white or dark sable gray, dovetail soft-close drawers, under-cabinet lighting, a pantry, granite countertops and GE appliances, including a gas range with griddle.
Other standard features include tile showers or soaking tubs with subway tile surround, easy-to-clean Armstrong Luxe Plank flooring, GE front-loading washer and dryer, plenty of closet space and covered private balconies.
Each unit is bright and airy, thanks to standard 9-foot ceilings and 7½-foot windows. A few floor plans offer 12-foot ceilings. Corner two-bedroom homes offer up to nine windows in the main living area.
Residents also have 24-hour access to the community clubhouse, which is equipped to handle any needs from work to play. For gatherings with friends, there is a full kitchen with island and bar seating; lounge areas with a gas fireplace and multiple TVs; and a game room with shuffleboard and laptop stations.
A 24-hour fitness center makes it easy to exercise no matter what your schedule, and a fully-equipped conference room allows you to take care of business without ever getting in your car.
For warmer months, the clubhouse boasts an outdoor pool with in-water lounge ledges and water features, an outdoor kitchen with grills, a firepit and entertaining areas.
The clubhouse also has a parcel management locker system that includes email/text notification and code access for secure package deliveries.
Coming in April, The Crossings will install a first for a Lancaster County apartment community: two complimentary charging stations for electric vehicles.
All buildings are smoke-free and pet-friendly and include 24-hour maintenance.
Rent at The Crossings ranges from $1,004 to $1,950 per month. There is a $300 security deposit and a $50 application fee. Thirty detached garages also are available for rent at a cost of $200 per month.
In addition to today’s open house from 4-6 p.m., prospective residents can visit during regular office hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by appointment evenings and weekends.
